Cycle safety operation - Bayswater Rd / Broad Walk

Dear Campden residents,

On Tuesday 18th August 2026, Campden officers successfully conducted a E-bike/cycling related operation at Bayswater Road and Broad Walk junction, targeting illegals/modified electric bikes usage, exceeding the specified power and speed limits. The goal of this operation was also to improve road safety by enforcing traffic laws and giving word of warning to those cyclists running red lights.

Four (4) Fixed Penalty Notice fine were issued to cyclists who failed to comply with traffic light signal. 

We will remain committed to the cause to tackle antisocial behaviour in the area.
